THE BACK-STORY: Creating a Video with Our Children Performing The Christmas and Epiphany Stories
We experienced the African proverb – It takes a village to raise a child – in reverse: It takes children to raise a village of parishioners to create a video of the Annunciation, Christmas and Epiphany stories.
The pictures and explanations below provide the back-story of the “village” that worked with our children: the Parents; Parish Staff; and Cinematography Team.
CINEMATOGRAPHY TEAM
Caz Bielen, owner of Premiere Media, our talented cinematographer-editor, was assisted by Deacon Tom Giacobbe. Directing and guiding children always brings surprises, including, silliness, and shyness. Caz. – our own “Mr. Rogers” – overcame the surprises and made it all work well. Listed below are the children and their roles in order of appearance.
